Safety

At Love April and May our number one priority is Safety.

We can proudly say that all our Teething Toys have been independently tested and certified safe to Australian Safety Standard AS/NZS 8124- safety of toys for children under 36 months. This includes our silicone beads, which are free from BPA, Lead, PVC, Mercury, Phthalates, Cadmium and Latex. This makes silicone a versatile material for our teething needs as it does not support the growth of mould or bacteria, can be placed in the fridge, freezer, microwave or on the top shelf of the dishwasher to clean!

All of our wooden beads are made from natural untreated beech wood, which is naturally antibacterial, hard wearing and resistant to the growth of mould and other bacteria.

Babies need to chew! So not only are our teething toys safe, they’re also great for dexterity, sensory development and gum relief

Our Dummy Chains have been independently tested & certified safe to the Australian Safety Standard BS EN 12586, Child use and care articles – Soother Holder – Safety Requirements and Test Methods

Dummy chains are not designed for teething, the sole purpose of a dummy chain is to attach a dummy to a child’s clothing to prevent it from being lost and falling in undesirable places.

Teething toys must not be attached to dummy chains.
