Our Interlocking Soft Building Blocks are a great toy for children of all ages. Made with a soft food grade plastic, they're a great educational toy for babies from 6 months right until school age Each block has 6 different features on each side of the block.
Top and bottom have a shape, one in and one out to match and stack and the 4 sides have either a number or symbol, animal, textured side, and fruit corresponding to the number on the block
BABIES- will grasp, learn hand eye coordination and fine motor skills by picking up, passing from hand to hand and knocking and throwing the blocks around. They're made from a soft food grade plastic making them completely Teething friendly.
TODDLERS- can begin to learn colours, shapes, animals and numbers by counting with the different designs on each side of the block, as well as stacking by recognising the matching shapes. They also make great Play Dough and sand stamps.
SCHOOL AGE - children can begin simple maths using the +, - and = symbols to calculate basic equations While this toy can be wet, we advise against water play as water may get into the valve and grow mould. Blocks come packaged in their own reusable cotton bag.

Order processing
As a small handmade business, most of our products are made to order. Please allow 7-10 business days for your items to be crafted, quality checked, and packed with care.
During busy periods, personalised or custom pieces may take 2-3 weeks - we promise they’re worth the wait!
If you need something urgently, please email april-may@outlook.com before placing your order and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Shipping
We currently ship Australia-wide.
- Standard shipping: 3-7 business days (after dispatch)
- Express shipping: 1-3 business days (after dispatch)
You’ll receive a tracking number once your order has been sent so you can follow its journey home.
Local pickup / markets
Keep an eye out for our market days and local pickup options, these will be listed at checkout when available.
Free local delivery is also available in the Doreen area.
Lost or delayed parcels
Once your parcel has been lodged with Australia Post, it’s in their hands. We cannot accept responsibility for delays or lost items, but we’ll always do what we can to help you locate your order and ensure it reaches you safely.

At Love April & May, every piece is made with care, love, and a whole lot of heart. Because many of our products are handmade or personalised just for you, we don’t offer returns for change of mind. But if something isn’t quite right, please reach out, we’re here to make it right where we can.
Faulty or damaged items
We take great pride in our quality and packaging, but if your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order with photos and details. We’ll happily offer a replacement.
Personalised & handmade items
Because the majority of our handmade and personalised pieces are made to order, we can’t offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect details provided, or natural variations in materials (that’s part of the handmade magic!). Please double-check all names and details before placing your order.

Every Love April & May product comes with its own safety card outlining care and use instructions. Please ensure all safety information is read carefully and followed at all times. Our products are designed with safety first and foremost, but they must always be used under adult supervision. We cannot take responsibility for misuse or failure to adhere to safety guidelines.
Returns process
If your item meets the above criteria for fault or damage, send us an email at april-may@outlook.com with your order number and details, and we’ll guide you through the next steps. Items must be unused, in original condition, and returned within 14 days of approval.
Please note:
We comply fully with Australian Consumer Law. If a product has a major fault, you’re entitled to a replacement or refund.
